He went on to pursue his Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Water Resource Engineering at the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, also under BPUT, graduating. Further advancing his specialization, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Water Resource Engineering at C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, with research focused on hydrological modeling, GIS applications, and water quality assessment, expected to be completed.

Dr. Abhijeet Das brings nearly a decade of hands-on professional experience in water resource engineering and GIS. He began his career as a GIS Analyst Intern at A.B. Consultancy in Bhubaneswar, where he worked on spatial data management, LiDAR analysis, and 3D city modeling. He then served as a Teaching Assistant at IGIT Sarang, focusing on agricultural time-series analysis, irrigation design, and watershed management using advanced GIS tools. He was a Teaching Assistant at the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, where he led GIS-based research and project execution, including quality assurance, scripting, and client coordination.
